The goal of this training program was to facilitate a safe learning environment for participants to practice forklift functions, before they got behind the wheel of any actual machinery. The solution was to design and develop an entirely immersive 3D simulation to mimic the exact functions and physics of specific forklift mechanics. Accomplished by working directly with subject matter experts and engineers from Kiewit, the learner was presented with a series of training exercises to accomplish in the simulated environment that measured understanding of forklift operations and safety procedures.
